You may not be able to see it, but…

… in this picture at an airport, I have not slept more than 3 hours a night for over 10 days straight.
Not a single night with good sleep. I woke up every night about 3 am and could not fall back asleep.
Terminal insomnia as it’s called.
And on that day this streak of torture should not end.
I tried it all. Essential oils, circadian reset, melatonin, L-theanine, cardio sessions, magnesium, meditation, wim hof breathing, diaphramatic breathing, caffeine restriction, carb cycling, red light therapy, writing, measured my blood pressure and so on. Some things helped, most things didn’t. Not even actual sleeping pills.

Why am I telling you this?

During this time of sleep deprevation I scrolled through endless articles and forums which proposed to have found the holy grail of sleep remedies – most of them useless and purely lacking actual value.
I decided to start my own blog. To provide actually valuable and authentic insights on topics like sleep, nutrition, supplementation and vitality in general. Everything I write about, I have tried myself or have had a personal experience with.

Who Am I?

I am Julius, 26 years old. Originally I am from Germany, but currently living in Switzerland. For a long time my hyper obsession has been vitality.
Testing and finding the highest quality supplements, optimizing sleep and nutrition – overall maximizing my vitality.
As I lived in West Africa for a while, I became aware that there are many different paradigm and aspects to vitality and health aside from conventional medicine.
